Calling all gardeners! Exciting news! Melton in Bloom has contacted us to say that they want to work with the church and other community groups, with a view to creating a beautiful town and winning a Horticultural Society Gold Award at the inspection in June. Morrisons supermarket has very kindly offered to donate the plants we need, and already a group of dedicated volunteers have been working every Thursday from 10.30 to 12.30. Take a peek at the gardens - you will see how much better they are looking. We are now calling for more people to join the Thursday sessions. Please do come along and help to give our church a friendly, welcoming appearance. At the same time we will be engaging with our local community and helping our town. It all goes to put the church at the heart of the community.
