Thorpe End Bloomers

GARDENING PROJECT WINS THE TOP AWARD.  For the past year, the Friends of St John's and the museum have been working in partnership with other local groups and businesses, to improve the environment in Thorpe End, especially St. John's gardens.

As Thorpe End Bloomers, we entered the Melton in Bloom "It's Your Neighbourhood" scheme, in which we have just been judged on Community Involvement, Environmental Responsibility and Gardening Achievement. We achieved an overall 74% "Thriving" - the highest of any group in the Melton area.
